BRANCH HISTORY
PHIL BROWN BRANCH MEMBER OF THE YEAR TROPHY
In 2013 K7 (Ken Sevenoaks) suggested the idea of a Branch trophy when he gave Desley a carved "Old Man" which had been carved by past Branch President Phil Brown.
The idea was taken to the Committee and it was agreed that it was a great idea. WoodDuck (Howard Parker) put the "Old Man" on a base.
The "Old Man" trophy was to be perpetual and an engraved glass would be given to the winner to keep.
The Branch Member of the Year trophy would be for the most active member and can be awarded to anyone who is a current financial member of Ulysses Club Inc. (Australia) or their partner except for the Branch President, Secretary and Treasurer.

The Jo Dearnley Memorial Trophy.
The Gladstone Branch received the Jo Dearnley Memorial Trophy at the 2012 National AGM in Mildura for the largest donation to UCARF in 2011. The donation of $11,125.46 was the profit from staging the 2011 Queensland State Odyssey. The balance of the Odyssey Account of $1,316.92 was also donated to UCARF after our Finical Report & GST was paid in June 2012. This bought the total donation from the 2011 Queensland State Odyssey to $12,442.38 not a bad amount raised by only 200 members over the 3 days of the Odyssey.
